what is our educational approach in working with young people?

Anno Bolender and Viéro Siebold have been working for years at the intersection of art education, stage performance and social projects. Both hold degrees from the Institute of Social Work at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Viéro works extensively with the Schultheaterstudio Frankfurt on theatre workshops with children and young people on the topics of violence prevention, democracy, emotional resilience. Anno works, amongst other things, with the Mus-E Foundation in primary schools and on the Culture Lab project run by the Crespo
Foundation and Frankfurt’s Youth Welfare Office.

What ‘verwilderte fasern’ aim to focus on in their educational work is the playful learning and collaborative development of strategies for important topics such as solidarity, community, mental health and experiences of exclusion. We believe this becomes possible when children are genuinely involved in artistic processes and are able to help shape them themselves, as well as being heard. That is why inclusion and participation are particularly important to us as the cornerstones of our theatre education work.
